La batterie dur plus longtemps que mon ancien.
First of all:This is my second Doogee device, my first one is a T20 ultra. I received a well packed T30 max tablet with black cover and screen protector film, load device and cable, needle for sim card holder and manual.
The device came with preloaded battery, so far so good, no extra charge necessary, but I put it up to 80% capacity.
First impression: nice tablet, medium nice cover and poor screen protection - in comparison to my Doogee T20 ultra, which came with a good cover and extra strong screen protection!
Switching on the device one can notice stucking jerky boot logo - poor bullet speed, obviously too much for the mid-class Helio G99 and UFS 2.2. A modern Dimensity 8300+ equipped with fast GDDR5X UFS 4.0 should be the better engine choice for the tablet....
Then after fully booted nearly stock Android 14 you can configure the tablet for your personal needs. It runs smooth and comfortable.
The battery which is designed 10,800mAh could only reloaded up to 10,500mAh. Load speed measured is 30W max.
Surprisingly the IPS screen has poor white balance and shows white like grey with blue tint. Not that cool one likes, white has to be as white. My T20 ultra does it better.
Main area of application of the T30 max is naviation criss-cross through northern and mid Europe with heavy truck, positioned at truck front screen. Hopefully the black housing and black cover do not lead to overheat during summer stress! We will see, otherwise I will report.
It is possible to configure 12GB additionally from ROM to RAM memory, which I disabled and use the device with 8GB basic and no extension. Else, there is no visible or measurable positive effect at the moment by enabling memory extension unless Doogee itself demonstrate the positive effect of its usage.
Helio G99 is limited to 4G, which is not state-of-art but fast enough in most cases for navigation purposes. Installing large maps into memory with mobile connection instead is often much slower than 5G, else it takes its time - thanks to UFS 2.2 GDDR4X memory its not done in a flash time.
The camera setup is rather nice and takes good photos and selfies daytimes. I do not use it often because tablets aren't designed to film or make fotos all the time - you always need both hands to handle.
Battery needs to be charged twice a day: 12-15% power consumption at screen on during navigation per hour, 0,6% with screen off. Unfortunatly there comes no battery protection which stops loading at 80%. So I installed an app from Appstore which does an alarm when reaching 80% capacity. Would be nice if Doogee could bring such protection with one of the next firmware updates!
Not every app does support landscape by design, so it should be supported by Doogee to enable forced screen rotation. By now it does not really, so I need an app from appstore to force screen rotation automatically.
That's it for now and the moment! I can recommend the T30 max although I would prefer a one with a more modern fast 5G chipset like mentioned Dimensity 8300+. Let's see if Doogee can do.
So had the t30 for around 6 weeks battery life is great and I've had zero issues with apps. Or the 4g options and data usage , the t30 was a dream to set up and copy my apps from. My honour phone, love th option for a micro sd card up to 2tb currently have a 1.5 TB card in for music files, the video playback is good quality even with small avi files. And the sound is a fair quality, plenty of options to set up the tablet to suit your needs I'm currently using it with deejay for mixing and it go's great. Really I cannot fault the tablet and did I say it's a solid build buy one it's cheap as chips for what you get. Don't let the name put ya off

5g does not work on AT&T ( doogee did not say it would) But I am hoping in the future you will be able to get your phones to work on 5g USA network!
Not other complaints I would say it keeps up with my One plus 8 pro
